MiVoice Business Credentials

(Mitel Integrated Configuration Wizard)

The MiVoice Business Credentials form takes either the default credentials of the EX server (including password) or allows the user to enter only the EX password which may have changed since the first login. After authentication, the user can change the password again. This password applies to the EX server, Server Manager and MiVoice Business systems. While running the Mitel Integrated Configuration Wizard for the EX platform, it is compulsory to change the password

For platforms other than EX, the user has to enter the login credentials to the MiVoice Business system and Server Manager before changing the password. Changing the password is optional. The Server Manager and MiVoice Business System have different passwords, unlike the EX platform.

To configure password for the MiVoice Business system when EX platform is selected:

  1. Select Use default system credentials to use the default credentials for the EX server that are established when the system is installed for the first time.

  2. If you do not want to use the default password, then unselect the Use default system credentials checkbox to manually enter the EX password.

NOTE: The EX Address and MiVB Address fields are taken from the EX System Parameters and System Parameters form respectively. The default EX Login is mimx.

  1. Under Change EX Password, enter the New Password for the MiVoice Business system.

  2. Verify the password by re-entering it in the Confirm Password field.

NOTE: The new EX password applies to EX mimx, SNMP Privacy, MSL root/admin, and MiVB mimx users.
